“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:3
Friends, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ will be visible with power as described in Acts 1:11. Nothing will alter this prophecy or event, not even the devil. However, I’ll like you all to understand that our Lord’s coming will be in 2 phases.
PHASE ONE: Is regarded as the rapture of the saints. It is during this phase that the Lord will be coming to take the saints with Him. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17). This phase is the completion of the ultimate salvation of the saints and the exposition of the hidden things of darkness. (Hebrews 9:28, 1 Corinthians 4:5). At rapture, our master will descend from heaven with the shout and voice of an archangel and the saints will be caught up to meet Him in the air.
PHASE TWO: Is regarded as the coming of the Lord with the saints. During this phase, the Lord Jesus will come with the holy angels and the saints to set up the millennium rule. (Revelation 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 3:13). It is important to know that He will reign majestically in this era (Revelation 11:15), execute judgement as a conquering king (2 Timothy 1:7-10) and will destroy death (1 Corinthians 5:25-26.
In between the first and second phase of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is the period of the tribulation (Matthew 24:21).
Who will make it in the first and second phase?
Those who make it at rapture (first phase) are also qualified for the second phase. I mean as they ascend to meet the Lord, so also will they come with him in his glory. 1 Thessalonians 3:13 ‘’To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints’’. To qualify for the first phase you must be holy, purified, and ready to carry the cross. Scripture says ‘’Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord’’ (Hebrew 12:14).
In conclusion, the Lord’s coming has been prophesied and will certainly come to pass. I pray the Lord help us to make good use of the grace opportunity we have now
